Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (React / Python / Go or Node.js or Java) | Remote | Velozient

About the Role

We are seeking a remote, full-time Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with 6+ years of software development experience. Candidates must have a strong background in React.js and either Golang, Node.js, or Java experience with a strong desire to adopt Golang as the primary back-end technology.

In this position, you will play a foundational role in building the core platform that enables power utilities to shift from decades-old legacy systems into an AI-native future. Candidates must bring working proficiency with AI tools and APIs to ensure seamless integration of intelligent functionality into the client's products.

Required Experience

Excellent English communication skills

6+ years of software engineering experience in SaaS or enterprise environments

Strong proficiency in Python, Golang, Node.js, or Java (non-Golang developers will learn and adopt Golang on the job)

Strong background in React

Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality code in fast-moving teams

Basic proficiency with AI/ML tooling (e.g., calling APIs, integrating model outputs)

Solid understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL), message queues, and distributed architectures

Cloud-native engineering experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Additional Information
